The problem
Long walks to school — sometimes through areas with elephant encounters — combined with the inability of poor families to afford uniforms and books cause many bright children to leave school by Grade 6. Once out, very few return.
Our approach
We fund hostel places, scholarships, school packs, and dedicated transport — wrapped in a foster-care model that gives each child a continuous adult relationship through their education.
