How BUDS-UK is governed to the highest standards of UK charity law.
- Constituted under a Deed of Trust in accordance with UK charity law
- Governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees meeting at least 4 times per year
- Annual accounts prepared and independently examined
- Accounts filed annually with the Charity Commission for England and Wales
- All trustees serve without remuneration, with zero salary costs
- Procurement policy requires at least 3 quotes for expenditures over £500
- No loans to trustees or connected parties
- Full conflict of interest policy in place
