Every Child Deserves to Learn
Education
We provide scholarships, school uniforms, stationery, and books to children from the most deprived families in Batticaloa. Our education program has supported thousands of students, many of whom have gone on to university.

Shelter
We build and repair homes for families living in unsafe or temporary structures. Priority is given to war widows, the elderly, and families with disabled members who have no other means to improve their housing.

Medical Aid
BUDS-UK donates medical equipment, medicines, and wheelchairs to hospitals and clinics in Batticaloa. We also fund regular medical camps that bring free consultations and treatment to remote villages.

Livelihoods
Our livelihood program provides vocational training and starter tools to war widows and unemployed youth. Participants learn tailoring, food processing, and other income-generating skills to become financially independent.

Drug Rehabilitation
We support rehabilitation centres in Batticaloa that help young men overcome substance dependency. Our funding covers counselling, residential care, and reintegration support to help them return to society.
